Euromatic CNP: suitable for tube and filled pipes cutting. Now enhanced with Torque Control

The well-established OMP’s Euromatic technology has been enhanced with a new system to help the user during the cutting phase: the torque control.
Euromatic CNP standard line can cut up to +/- 60° and can work with blades up to 600 mm long (other saws are available on demand); it can execute different cutting pattern and different length cuts with different angles within the same bar.
Torque control system is available for all Euromatic CNP models, both for straight cut and for angled cut, and it allows to control the advancement of the cutting head as well as the speed of the blade according to a specific algorithm that reads the descending torque as well as the rotation torque 500 times per second, and it automatically toggles the speed in order to enhance the lifetime of the blades and to obtain a good finish on the cut piece. The cutting head balance is done through a close circuit circular hydraulic system that allows to make the most of the descending and ascending torque to execute fast cuts without vibrations.
The machine – controlled by a new software version and Siemens PLC with touch screen – is extremely flexible. Now it is much easier to program thanks to several simplified menus that guide the user through the programming phase.
Euromatic line is modular; a large range of loading and unloading system is available. Among these, the bar optimization system is the most interesting; it is a system that is provided with an additional fixed run axis on the discharge side that allows to minimize the final scrap.

MD Line: for filled pipes speed cut
Being sturdy and reliable, the MD line is employed in those environment that need to work continuously with a high standard of productivity. MD line can cut full bars at a very fast pace, and it can be combined with all the standard OMP chargers. On demand, it can be combined with a CM charger that can load and align two bars at a time in order to cut them at the same time.
The sturdy and anti-vibration design allows to obtain a very good finish that grants a surface that is extremely smooth and without dribbles. This system is 5 times faster than a machine with HSS blade; it is easy to use thanks to the embedded touch screen system that allows to fully manage the parameters and the programming. It is available in different models: MD-70, MD-100, MD-150 (maximum diameters 70, 100, 165 mm).
