 Born in 1991 taking working feedback and people with over ten years of experience, gained in the manufacturing of equipment, machines and transfer lines for metallic tube working , during 2005, the company made an evolution splitting in two branches the production of the automated transfer groups and its corresponding engineering with the aim to re-organize its producing activity going from a consolidated handicraft method to a more industrialized system giving in such a way a proper mark to its products going beyond other companies which in the past were used to re-sell or treat our product with their own brand name.
MANUAL EQUIPMENT
Our production range includes the simple flexible units which as principle can be compared to small presses that associated to a hydraulic system using a duly designed hydraulic power pack, positioned on a plane being a rig or a plate, can punch, flatten , end form ( reduction of the tube ends ) cut the tube; these units, which at first sight could seem of slight importance just because of their basic feature of being simple, flexible and versatile, stand for the “fulcrum “ of our production since they can be easily fit and interchangeable in case of production of items in continuous evolution meeting in such a way all market requirements containing the production costs; these units are closely linked to manual working rigs or fully automated lines which starting from the bar concur to obtain the completed product.
The metallic tube and consequently all its related workings, cover a wide range of fields namely these workings can be found as to baby articles in the productions of perambulators , push chairs, school desks, as to home items – clothing driers , domestic ladders, heaters, radiators, as to industrial building field , scaffoldings, as to automotive field , door car safety bars, seats adjusting levers , as to leisure time, swings, deckchairs , camper accessories , camping tents, as to garden field, grass cutters, wheelbarrows , as to furniture chairs , shelves and office furniture.

A working bench is a machine hydraulically operated to make punching , deformations , bending, end forming on a metallic tube . The machine is made of a combination of different hydraulic units running at the same time or following a programmed sequence in order to make all the required operations on the item.
 SEMIAUTOMATIC PUNCHING MACHINES
Standard machine suitable for normal steel, stainless steel and aluminium tubes with square , rectangular or round section. The punching can be carried out with or without distortion.
The central hydraulic punching unit has two cylinders which can be controlled indipendently.
The selfcentering clamping of the tube takes place before the punching operation.
The machine can punch one or more slots simultaneously.
The tube , which is held by a collet moves on a controlled axis.
On the control panel, it is possible to vary the pitch and position of the slots.
The accuracy of the pitch and of the slotting , the straightness of the punched tubes are an important feature of the machine.
The change over time of the tooling is particularly quick and simple as all the parts are easily accessible.
The machine is very suitable for producing shelving, radiators, ladders, bed frames and similar products.
The above machine can be also equipped with a tube loader or automatic over head manipulator

 RANSFER LINES
There are areas where the production requirements lead to solutions of high productivity with the least manual intervention and above all with maximum reliability linked to the highest quality.
For this particular purpose SMS has designed and manufactured various transfer lines for reflecting the above requirements for producing in automatic cycle the finished items starting from tubes 6 m long size ( variable )
- Autoloader with lifting belts with bar orientation device.
- Cutting of the tube to size with mechanical reference and
ejection device.
The cutting is of a guillotine type with two blades at 90 degrees.
- Punching movable stations with internal dies and holes of different shapes or fixed punching stations to make holes and flattenings.
